Nancy and her husband Matthew are the proud parents of two cats, Clarence Lemons and Baby Ruth Ginsburg and a dog Sargent Pepper Shriver (aka Sarge.) All of her pets are rescued from shelters or humane organizations.
In her spare time, Nancy enjoys cooking, eating, reading, skiing, knitting and running. She has completed 11 marathons and 1 Ultra Marathon! Every chance she gets, she finds new avenues to help pets in need.
Helping pets become more integrated members of the family is at the heart of everything Nancy does. This philosophy is visible in all aspects of Nancy’s life—from her home which has hundreds of pet toys to her practice where getting to know pets and their people are a priority. “At Katz & Dogs Animal Hospital we all work together to create an atmosphere which embraces a pet’s medical needs while celebrating a family’s commitment to their pet. Providing care for a pet is not only my pleasure, but also my passion. I am honored to be able to care for so many family pets and to help assist them with decision making throughout the course of their pet’s life. Together with my team, we seek to help pet’s live happier and longer lives through a unique combination of education, warmth, compassion and attention to detail that sets us apart from other animal hospitals.”
